In collaboration with the Queer Education Foundation (QEF), Engineering Young Alumni Council (ENGGYAC), and presented by TD Bank, this session will focus on how to become a more supportive employer, colleague, and future leader by deepening your understanding of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. Topics will include:
Building inclusive and affirming workplaces
The importance of pronouns and respectful language
Everyday actions that support equity and belonging
Whether you're new to these conversations or looking to deepen your allyship, this session will provide tools and insights to help you create more inclusive environments for everyone.

About the Presenter
Victoria Bucholtz holds a doctorate in History and Gender Theory from the University of Calgary. She is an instructor at Mount Royal University in Calgary. She also works in the EDI field (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) for the Queer Education Foundation as a consultant and facilitator. Victoria is a co-creator of Queer Citizens United, a board member for Trans Action Alberta, and works with Queer Momentum. An avid mountaineer, performer, and dog mom, Victoria is a passionate advocate for rights for the gender and sexually diverse community.
