Being a Pillar of Support: Allyship at Work

The University of Alberta is providing a free course on how we can be an ally and provide a more inclusive and supportive environment in the workplace.

This course addresses the forefront issues of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) in the corporate world. It seeks to demystify the often intimidating nature of DEIB by promoting a mindset shift towards openness to feedback and change. The curriculum covers a brief DEIB overview, encourages ongoing learning, examines personal biases, advocates for inclusive language use, and guides participants in setting up Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to drive innovation through diversity.
