A relaxing, safe space for attendees to take a break, relax, and recharge in between the hustle and bustle of the day!
Women in Engineering Summit is a non-profit group that aims to encourage women in engineering to pursue their professional registration. The goal will be achieved by addressing the most pressing issues facing women in engineering every year during the annual summit.
While the WES name and mission highlights women, the event is full of educational and networking opportunities to support gender minorities in engineering. WES does a great job at keeping these conversations inclusive of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community. We are proud that a trans man and PIE volunteer, Ari Copeland, is the Edmonton keynote speaker this year.
The summit will be held on June 7, 2024 and will be available to attend virtually as well as in person in Edmonton and Toronto, Canada.
PIE is excited to support WES in Edmonton by providing a relaxing, safe space for attendees to take a break, relax, and recharge in between the hustle and bustle of the day! Are you a student or unemployed? Can you attend online? Can you host a watch-party with your colleagues, friends, or family? Can you bring a male ally with you to the conference? If you answered yes to any of these questions, click the links above to see the discounts available to you!
Are you employed? If so, your company may be willing to reimburse you for your ticket cost!
Is your company listed as a sponsor on the WES website? If so, check with your company to see if they received complimentary tickets to give to employees!
